Adoption Program
Since 2004, Hearts & Hooves has provided a home and restful pastures for horses who were in need. Though we would love to keep everyone, our goal is to provide each horse with the best forever home we can. Many of the horses who join us are here to stay awhile, maybe regain their faith in humans, to get healthy, or just stretch their legs, but as they become healthy and happy we look to find them a forever home.

Currently we have only a few horses up for adoption and we ask individuals looking to adopt a mini horse to consider the longevity of the commitment of caring for a horse. Things we like people to consider before filling out our application forms are that these little horses can live up to 30 years, they do cost money - sometimes a lot of money, they require some special care, and they need company.
